Castle Phoenix Edge 120 HV - The Auxiliary Advantage

Phoenix Edge Series ESCs are the next evolution in speed controller technology. The white user-programmable auxiliary wire can be used for features such as helicopter governor gain input adjustments mid-flight, serving as an audible beacon after an “unexpected landing”, acting as an RPM output for 3-axis gyros that support RPM sensors, being used as an ESC arming lock (coupon for free Arming Lockout Key included), or as a receiver arming lock.

Combined with data logging, access to Castle's industry-leading software functions, and USB programming capability via a Castle Link USB adapter (coupon included), or the Castle Link iOS App and a B-LINK Bluetooth Adapter, Phoenix Edge offers unparalleled versatility.

Phoenix Edge HV 120 offers a voltage input range from 3S to 12S LiPo and 120A continuous amperage capability - perfect for use in 550, 600, or 700 class helicopters, and giant-scale fixed-wing aircraft.

Data Logging:

Power System Alerts:

The Edge ESCs are programmed to sound a number of tunes and codes using the motor as well as flashing LED patterns to alert users to certain conditions regarding their power system, such as over-temperature, excessive load, and locked head speed.

AUX Functionality:

The Edge ESCs offer an AUX LINE, which is the extra white wire connected to the receiver cable. Protection Features:

Arm Lock Key: When the Arm Lock Key is in the socket, the controller will be incapable of arming. (coupon for Arm Lock Key and Harness included with EDGE purchase)
RC Arm Lock: The controller will not arm or run when the auxiliary channel is below 50% after connecting the AUX line to an open channel on your receiver that is programmed to serve as an arm lock switch.
