Making the drive from Missouri to Illinois was a daunting task, but i did not want to take a chance of my Jet getting damaged with local couriers. After arriving at the shop, I was greeted by Mike and was shown the multitude of products that Gator provides. It was over 5,000 items and was very neatly organized! Once seeing the box, all my concerns were dashed. It is cardboard, but its multiple layers make it sturdy as wood. The foam inserts arrange the parts such that it would have to be severely dropped to damage the parts. The four inserts are dense closed cell foam that hold the parts snugly. Each part is carefully bubble wrapped.
When I arrived home, I had to get it out and take a closer look. The finish was flawless, and the high gloss finish was immaculate! the kit comes with a comprehensive parts kit, and a very nice cockpit tub. The canopy is very clear. Internally, there is carbon throughout for strength in areas that need it, and not where it doesn't, balancing weight and strength.
What a brute! This thing is big! At 91" long, it will command attention at your local field!
Frsky servos are the best for the buck on the market.
Bought more since for different size planes.16x8.the props are good.like wood.
Every thing looks good except the header is not tapped so I can't attach it to the motor. I could tap it myself but don't think I have correct tap.
It's a very nice plane. Very well put together and covered, and very easy to put together.
