The Top RC L-39 Albatros is an absolutely outstanding turbine jet. I equipped mine with a KingTech K-180G turbine, and the combination is simply incredible.
The aircraft is extremely stable throughout the entire speed range and feels locked in during fast passes. Tracking is precise, control response is predictable, and the jet inspires confidence from takeoff to landing.
What impressed me most is how well the airframe handles the power of a 180N turbine. Even at high speeds, the model remains smooth and composed, while still being capable of aggressive aerobatics when requested. Landings are surprisingly easy thanks to the forgiving flight characteristics and excellent low-speed manners.
After many turbine flights, I can honestly say this is one of the most enjoyable jets in my hangar. If you’re looking for a reliable, great-flying turbine L-39 that performs as good as it looks, the Top RC L-39 is an easy recommendation.
Paired with a KingTech 180N turbine, this aircraft becomes an absolute rocket while still maintaining outstanding stability and precision.

My new Pro Grip transmitter neck strap is exactly what I needed for my transmitter tray. It lets me easily access all the switches on my NX10 without having to support the transmitter at the same time. It’s a very nice setup. I highly recommend this neck strap, as well as Gator RC as a company.
