If you are wondering if this plane is a wonderful flyer its' actually better than that. It phenomenal! It tracks like its on invisble rails. I went hands off and it stayed sideways for ages. Landings are a breeze and its faster than it looks. Snap rolls are crisp and precise but not too fast. The recommended throws for the control surfaces are spot on. The composite landing gear is super strong and light but I did reinforce it with carbon fiber. There are some low marks however. The hardware for the landing gear and wheels is very poor. You are better off with dubro foam tires or even rubber ones. The wheel hubs are not good for grass or asphat landngs due to the bolts and nuts coming loose on landing and take off. The tail wheel hardware isn't great either. The tail wheel is too thin and does not have enough contact for adequate groud handling. You will need a wider foam or rubber tail wheel. This plane is much lighter than it looks and bult with quality and precision.

The biggest miss is the supplied motor mount /fire wall. The plywood supplied is weak and will compresses very easily. Don't bother reinforcing it. You are better off making a carbon fiber mount mount/ firewall. I would know since my motor mount failed in midflight and the propeller cut into the fuselage. Damagaing the plane. I fixed it and it looks liie new now. I also made my own carbon fiber motor mount from scratch. This a great airframe but the hardware supplied can betray an otherwise spectacular F3A model. I would highly recommmend following the CG to the letter. Make sure all your glue joints for the motor mount firewall are sealed and complete. I power my bird with a Rim fire 80 and a 6s lipo battery. Slow flight is just as stable. It just floats along but when it finally does stall its rather predictable and eager to keep flying. If you are an expereinced builder and flyer I think it's defintley worth the money. It's beautiful!!

I had previously been running a PT 20x12 on my Divergent F3A bipe and was lacking a bit of vertical performance. Being that I had a Dualsky 6352 205 KV motor installed I knew I was somewhat under propped. Since I was overall happy with PT props, I decided to try the 22X12. Huge difference and was a key to me winning the D8 Masters Championship.

The 20 gauge extensions worked out great for my elevators and my rotors the 4-ft long worked out great glad they were available thanks Tom

Fit and finish really good...putting together now. I think the manual online is outdated....there have been some changes, but no big deal....What would be really nice, is if the screws and nuts were bagged separate with a label listing the use.....kind of confusing, just have to take the extra time

Extremely happy that I was able to get this airframe. Everything in the box made it undamaged. I really enjoy flying my feeewing 80mm avanti, probably my favorite jet. It will be a little ways down the road before I finish it and have it ready to fly. I am super excited though. Thank you Gator RC!

Great little tank to fit in those small spaces. I installed one in the forward compartment of the Value Hobby 60 Easy Stik.
