I've used Airtronics, Hitter, Futaba, Spektrum, FrSky X9D with OpenTX, Radiomaster TX16MKII with EdgeTX and now FrSky X20RS with Ethos. The newer FrSky transmitters running Ethos are incredible and worth the investment IMHO. I'm finding the operating system more fluid/friendly. There's so much improvement over the past systems I've used but I'll touch on a few things that stand out to me, that no one else may mention. Naming in the configurations provides more characters, so names can be more descriptive. You can add comments to Logic Switches. So, if you have many lines of logic switches, it's much easier to go back later and know what each line does. Adding images and sounds is now much much easier utilizing Ethos Suite. Find your image on the computer, load it into Ethos Suite, click the Transcode button and with your transmitter connected to the computer, it knows what format to make the image and it transcodes and loads it directly onto the transmitter and your done. Very easy!
I could go on and on about how much I like the new radio but I'll end it here by saying it's worth the investment, just go buy one.
